TEACHERS TRAINING

In the Project "Family stories on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea" teachers training aims at giving them information and tools in order to realize Teaching Units about reading and writing stories.

In particular teachers after learning the theory of the "grammar of the stories" according to the studies by Stein and Glenn, teachers learn how to:

1. analyse a text in order to check if it conforms with the ideal structure expected by the grammar of the stories;
2. modify a story in order to make it in keeping with the expected grammar of the stories;
3. fix objectives of reading and writing stories;
4. plan teaching units about reading and writing stories with ideal structure.
