FAMILY STORIES ON THE SHORES OF THE MEDITARRANEAN SEA

The project has been realized in 2004 with the contribution of the Veneto Region (International Relations Department ( Law 55/29 Veneto Region _ Executive resolution no. 4027 on 19th December 2003).

It takes place in Italy, Israel, Palestine through the engagement of some leading schools:
the Palestinian School of Taybeh and the Jaffa School of Nazareth in Israele.

It promotes:

• a teachers training course to give information and tools in order to realize class teaching units about reading and writing stories according to the pattern of the ideal structure suggested by Stein and Glenn;
• a writing competition for classes of primary school, called"He and I".
  Students are invited to write “stories” with two main characters, in which a common problem is faced up and solved through a convincing solution.

In 2004 12 stories have completely achieved the objective.
